Our wines are the result of a rigorous process of combining the valley’s extreme luminosity, colluvial soils, and a semi-arid climate with low rainfall. We have had the freedom to experiment with different varieties until achieving the best results.
We seek for our wines to be an honest expression of their origin: grapes planted at 1,100 meters above sea level, in virgin soils, under one of the clearest skies on the planet and protected by the warm terral wind. This, together with minimal-intervention agriculture, creates the ideal conditions for exceptional wines.
Samak wines interpret the Elqui Valley in its purest expression. It is the connection between low-intervention viticulture, lunar phases, and the worldview of our ancestors. With the name Samak, which means “creator” in the Kakán language, we link the fruit of the earth with the origin of the world, according to the Diaguita culture.
SAMAK
On soil with calcareous veins grow the vineyards that give life to Samak, resulting in balanced and elegant wines that confirm the potential of Elqui. Afterwards, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and at least one year in the bottle before being released to the market.

INDICIO
Our vineyards grow on living soils, surrounded by nature and intersected by biological corridors. Among them we can find the Chagual or Puya alpestris, a native plant that stoically coexists with the rest of the flora, and which, when flowering, shows us how its discreet character becomes evidence of a surprising world. This fact is, for us, an indication of the stability of the ecosystem and of the flow of the natural world.
